Terms of Service

You need to be at least 13 years old. If you're under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before using Bower.

If you create an account with Google sign-in, you confirm that the account info you provide is yours and is accurate.

Be a decent person:

• Don't harass, threaten, or impersonate other players.
• Don't cheat or exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage.
• Don't try to break the game, the server, or other players' experiences.
• Don't use the service to do anything illegal.

If you do any of those things, we can suspend or remove your access without warning.

If you sign in, you're responsible for what happens on your account. Use a strong Google password. Don't share access.

You can delete your account anytime by emailing us. We'll wipe your profile within 30 days.

Bower is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it up and working, but:

• We don't guarantee zero downtime.
• We don't guarantee your data won't ever be lost (though we back it up).
• We don't guarantee fairness in matchmaking or bot behavior.

If something breaks, we'll fix it as fast as we reasonably can.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Holy Schmitt Studios LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Bower. Our total liability is capped at $100, or the amount you paid us (currently $0 — Bower is free).

This isn't us trying to weasel out — it's standard for free online services.

We can update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll announce them on the homepage and update the “Last updated” date.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
